Pyongyang‚ August 25 (KCNA) –– The second International Martial Arts
Games‚ which opened on August 24‚ are being held in various gymnasiums
in Chongchun Street of Pyongyang· On its sidelines‚ the Fourth World
Pankration Championships are taking place at the Combat Sports
Gymnasium amid interest of citizens· Taking part in the championships
are 10–odd heavyweight players from seven countries·
In the individual league contests of 77 kg category held on
Thursday‚ Andrei Terentyev of Russia came the first‚ Vasilei Novikov of
Ukraine the second and Yunusov Temurmalik of Uzbekistan the third by
displaying stubborn fighting spirit and high standard of technique·
The contests continue·
